Bad to the Future

The universe seems to need balance, good and evil, day and night, yin and yang.

I can demonstrate this using two fairground art versions of the promotional poster for Back to the Future Part 2. This artwork represents goodness, truth and light (apart from Marty McFly's eyes)...

...and this 'artwork' definitely represent the deepest, vilest evil...

There's a saying, "the devil is in the detail." Here, the devil is in the lack of detail.

  1. How bad a smell does there have to be in the second one to justify their making such faces? And... wait- could it be? *Fred Savage*!

  2. Reminds me of Unreal Tournament with the texture quality set to Low.

  3. The second one looks fake, his head is in front of those lights along the top. Although I suppose it could be a cutout attached to the front of the sign

  4. It's genuine, I took the photo myself. You're right about them being a cutout that stuck out (you can see it at the bottom, too). Besides, there's so much bad fairground art out there, there's no need to fake it!

  5. I guess they used a Peugeot 504 for a time machine in the other version.

  7. The tire doesn't look like it's hovering, it looks like the car is at a chop-shop.

  8. This is from an alternate universe where the film starred Fred Savage and Christopher Walken. Quite what plot revisions were made to explain why Savage is an amputee I can only speculate...
